Alternative Digital Futures: Call for Researchers Spring/Summer 2022

Are you a graduate student working on or interested in exploring new imaginaries for the futures of cybersecurity and/or AI security? Do you work in Indigenous Studies, African American Studies, Anthropology, STS, Gender and Women’s Studies, or other fields not often represented in cybersecurity or AI, and have a perspective on how the future of digital security could or should be reimagined to be more inclusive of diverse perspectives?

The UC Berkeley Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity is launching a new project to explore alternative digital futures, and wants to hear from you!

Outputs of projects are flexible and could include a blog post, event, academic paper, poem or art piece, policy brief, app, etc. The timeline for project work and completion is Spring and/or Summer 2022.

Please fill out this form to tell us about yourself and a possible project you would be interested in working on. The deadline to apply is Monday, January 31.
