Jian Liu is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley. Before joining UC Berkeley, he was a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Aalto University. His research focuses on Applied Cryptography and Blockchains, and he is interested in building real-world systems that are provably secure, easy to use and inexpensive to deploy.
