The Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) and its founding director, Steven Weber, will be honored with the 2021-2022 Chancellor’s Award for Research in the Public Interest. Given annually, this award recognizes “research that addresses critical issues affecting our local, state, national, or global communities.”
Steve Weber, Professor in the School of Information and Faculty Director for the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, will retire at the end of 2021, after more than thirty years at UC Berkeley.
