Daniel Masny is currently a scientific researcher at VISA Research, where he works on the design of post-quantum cryptography based on problems from coding theory and lattices as well as on oblivious transfer which is a basic building block of secure multi party computation. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley. He received his PhD in 2016 from Ruhr-Universit├Ąt Bochum under the supervision of Eike Kiltz on "Cryptography from Hard Learning Problems" and received a Diploma in computer science in 2012 from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
