Event Description

Enjoy remarks from Jason Clinton, CISO of Anthropic, and Jessica Walton, U.S. Regional Officer of CyberPeace Institute, on the various efforts of cyber volunteers and allies to up-skill the cyber workforce and assist under-resourced organizations with their digital security.

Jason Clinton is Chief Information Security Officer at Anthropic. Previously, he led Chrome Infrastructure Security at Google. Earlier work includes ChromeOS build integrity, Android Pay security, digital coupons, beowulf computing, and secure thin clients. He’s the author of Ruby Phrasebook and contributed to the GNOME project.

Jessica Walton is the U.S. Regional Officer at the CyberPeace Institute, where she manages partnerships and oversees U.S.-based projects aimed at fostering a safer and more secure digital ecosystem for the most vulnerable. With a comprehensive background in cybersecurity, open-source investigation, and international affairs, Jessica brings a depth of expertise to her role. She has held key research positions within the U.S. government, focusing on media analysis, as well as tackling the challenges of disinformation, misinformation, human rights, and equitable access to digital resources. Her work is deeply rooted in promoting digital resilience and safeguarding human rights in the digital age.
