Salia is a second-year master’s student at the Berkeley’s School of Information, focusing on applied natural language processing and human-computer interaction (HCI). Her interests lie in exploring LLM-based autonomous agents and designing new nteraction interfaces between AI agents and users. She is particularly interested in addressing the question: how can we design AI agents that autonomously perform tasks on behalf of users while remaining under meaningful human control? Before graduate school, Salia worked as a Product Manager at large corporations like Fujitsu Singapore, where she launched enterprise products, and at startups, where she developed and brought to market lifestyle mobile B2C applications.
